Moller Organ History

Moller Organ History

November 27, 1960  marked a historical date in the past of Wesley United Methodist Church.  It was the first day that the large and unique Moller Organ was displayed and heard at Wesley United Methodist Church.

Donated to the church by Thomas H. Bowlus, the organ was a dedication to his parents. The organ itself is a two-manual, seventeen rank instrument that modernized the church.  It replaced an organ that had been previously been at the church for over 60 years before.  You can  also find Moller Organs located at First Christian Church and First Presbyterian Church in Iola, Ks.  If you wish to know more about these organs and their history call the churches and ask for a tour.
