Historic Iola Tours

in this 1988 Boyerton Molly Trolley

 

The 2008 Tour Season is in full swing!!!

We offer tours every Saturday until October,

departing from in front of the Allen County Historical

Society Museum on the Southwest corner of the Downtown Square.

Tours begin at 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. Tickets may be purchased on the trolley.

 The clock which now adorns the

Iola, KS town square was rescued

from the tower of the old

Allen County Courthouse.

 

For a short while, the old Courthouse

 (built in 1904), cast its shadow over

 the replacement.  Photo taken from

Iola, Kansas is the home of the
